Places to Visit (Australia)

Australian Standing Stones

Situated near the town of Glen Innes, NSW, the Australian Standing Stones are the national monument to Australia’s Celtic pioneers, and are recognised by the Celtic Council of Australia as the national gathering point for Celtic descendants and clans (including an annual Celtic culture festival). They are also a wonderful example of the megalithic revival underway around the world today.

Crystal Castle

An amazing subtropical garden scattered with Hindu/Buddhist statues and gigantic geodes/crystals in Northern NSW (near Byron Bay). Includes a cafe, store (for crystals and other metaphysical objects) and regularly holds events such as visits from Tibetan Buddhist Monks, sound workshops etc.

William Ricketts Sanctuary

William Ricketts Sanctuary is a place of beauty and tranquillity, due both to the natural setting and the mystical sculptures half hidden among ferns along the pathways.

A garden in Tasmania which is devoted to the concepts of personal wholeness and peace.
